PI Consultant, Leadership Developer, Facilitator & Executive Coach
Mary is a team and leadership developer, facilitator and consultant for MCG Partners, a consultancy specializing in leadership and talent optimization. With over thirty years of human resource expertise, Mary’s expertise is in teamwork and organizational effectiveness.
Previously, Mary worked at National Life Group as Associate Vice President, Organizational Development and Education. Over a nine-year period, she worked closely with leadership and employees in creating a National Life University, talent management and succession planning process, numerous leadership development programs, cutting edge performance management systems and was a key leader in a transformational cultural journey.
Prior to National Life, Mary was President of Creative TeamWorks, an organizational development and communication consulting business. The vision and mission of this company was to assist organizations in developing to their highest potential through principles of teamwork and interpersonal communications with an emphasis on pragmatic results.
Preceding the consulting practice, Mary’s business career included Bank of Vermont, Vice President. Mary held three diverse leadership positions within the financial industry; Human Resources Division Head and Senior Leadership; Marketing Division as New Product Development and Sales Manager; Customer Service Division, Main Office Manager.
Mary has a BA in Psychology graduating Summa Cum Laude from Trinity College in Burlington, VT and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch New England in New Hampshire. Mary has been a licensed psychologist-MA in Vermont from 1993-2018. Mary is certified in the Predictive Index® (PI®) and DiSC assessment tools, including using Gallup’s Strength Finders.
Mary’s community involvement includes volunteering for COTS – Committee on Temporary Shelter, Do Good Fest for Branches of Hope Cancer Center and Vermont Food Bank. Mary’s past board experiences have included COTS and the Institute of Spiritual Development in Burlington, VT. Mary is passionate about health and fitness, adventure-based activities, travel and lives in Burlington, VT close to her family.
